To celebrate the current Smithsonian Libraries exhibition Picturing Words: The Power of Book Illustration, Helena Wright, Curator of Graphic Arts at the National Museum of American History, will present “Book Illustration and Visual Culture.”
The lecture will take place in the National Museum of American History Carmichael Auditorium, located at 14th Street and Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. next Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 5:30 pm, with a reception to follow.
