Erin Clements Rushing is the Outreach Librarian for Smithsonian Libraries and Archives. She enjoys sharing the Libraries and Archives' treasures with new audiences and telling the stories from the stacks through various outreach efforts. She coordinates social media and the blog (Unbound), plans tours and manages the internship program. She also handles rights and reproductions for library collection images and acts as point person for copyright concerns. Erin holds an M.L.S from the University of Maryland, as well as a B.A. in History and Art History.

Among the many offerings for teens at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Gallery, ARTLAB+ gives teens a place to express their creativity via technology and art. One analog way teens connect with art is through graphic novels.
The Smithsonian Libraries is pleased to offer five paid internship opportunities for the summer of 2016. Projects topics are diverse and include art history research, collections assessment, educational program development and more. Applications are due January 15th, 2016. Olga Hirshhorn, the widow of Hirshhorn founder Joseph H. Hirshhorn, died October 3 in Naples, Florida. She was a generous friend and donor to the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Library.
